UP 5565 meets UP 5572 in west Truckee. Right before cprv 208. Sorry about the messed up audio and multiple cuts

After Soda Springs we drove to Truckee and caught #5 going into the station before #6. I had to turn off the video or it would have exceeded the ten minute limit, so it jumps in a couple of places.

The motel had a pointy ceiling, The style of the motel was swiss alps a small creek ran along side the motel. There was also a small resturaunt near the motel… Does anyone know the name of this place??

The 2008 Tour de Nez rolled through downtown Truckee on Thursday, June 19 with a pro criterium, clunker race and kids race. This video captures some of the moments from the clunker and kids races.

I’m afraid of windy, high-up mountain roads (especially with ice on them in the winter).. I’ve never been to Tahoe or Truckee but want to go. What’s the best roads to take to avoid scary mountain icy roads? Or is there a best way? Please answer if you have experience!

I started fishing one i was 3 years old. but i only used hook and worm. And now i am 13 and want to catch fish with a lure on the truckee. because they say that’s the only way how to catch big ones. But dint know which one to use ( i am using rooster tails haven’t caught any thing)
