Ok now that we’ve got the tank bolted to the bowl we’re gonna put the front of it on the flange which is already good and ready to go. I put this paper towel in there to help with the sewer gas and also so we don’t drop anything down the hole. The supply line is roughed in. It’s a quarter turn shut off valve 90 degree half inch copper pipe and this is a 3/8′s fitting here. The first thing we are going to do is take the wax ring, it comes with bolts. I’ll take the paper towel out. These are made so you don’t have to get your hands on the wax. Pull the plastic off and set it with the gasket down in the hole right in the center of the flange. Then we take our bolts which come with these plastic retaining washers so they are odd shaped to fit into the flange so you can put them in one way and turn them they lock so you don’t have to get to the bottom on them once the toilet is on. We will push the plastic retainer down which will hold the bolts in place so when we set the toilet they will come up through. Normally if this was a standard toilet we would keep the bolts parallel with the wall. This is …
